The sweatband is foam backed vinyl, the hat band is black mohair and the vinyl chinstrap is held in place by 2 gold plastic RAAF buttons.
H238. A Warrant Officers service dress cap with an anodised cap badge named to A324852 Faragher. The cap is lined with a blue/grey material that is covered with thin plastic which is stamped Australian Government Clothing Factory (AGCF) size arrow 56 1988. The sweatband is foam backed vinyl, the hat band is black mohair and the vinyl chinstrap is held in place by 2 gold plastic RAAF buttons.
H279. A ranks service dress cap named to Mirich with an anodised cap badge. The cap is lined with a blue/grey material that is covered with thin plastic which is stamped EMERCO Dept. of Air 1971 – 72 arrow. The sweatband is foam backed vinyl and has A224413 B Mirich written under it, the hat band is black mohair and the vinyl chinstrap is held in place by 2 gold plastic RAAF buttons.
H288. An undated Officer Cadet service dress cap named to Jostons O235495 with an early type gold bullion officers cap badge. The cap is lined with a blue/grey material and is covered with thin plastic which is stamped Australian Government Clothing Factory (AGCF) size arrow 7 1/4. The sweatband is foam backed vinyl, the hat band is white flannel and the vinyl chinstrap is held in place by 2 gold plastic RAAF buttons.

Jacinta, I take it that the cap is blue/grey in colour. I worked at a RAAF base from 1974 to 1994, thus my interest in the RAAF. Regards, Lindsay.
